A musical by young people for all people.

“Love is a Many-Splendoured Thing” is a musical organized to celebrate popular western love songs and dances from 1900-1980. A large majority of the people involved in the musical are aged 18–25. The musical directors were both concise that they want a locomotive to represent the musical.

Inspired by the art of Tom Whalen, we designed the poster with the colour orange being a symbol of the past, while blue being a transition to the future. The orange side of the train has a sharper, hard-edged design while the blue side has a sleek feel to it. The clock points at 8, signifying the starting time of the musical.
